Week One Recap

WOW! We can't believe how quickly our first week went by can you? We're sure it was a sad morning for some of our Junior (and Senior) Kindergarten parents as you said goodbye to your little ones at the bus stop and school's front doors...or at least that's what we heard from the students!

We are happy to report that the week went off without a hitch and we are all very excited to be in our new room. Make sure to check out the class website in the Classroom Pictures section to see how our room turned out and where we will be learning, exploring and growing together. 

In addition to settling in, we were also very active and responsive while learning (and remembering for our SK students) our daily routine, which is also posted on the class website. We have already had some great community 'square' (because of the shape of our carpet) discussions, interacted with one another and have started to show our writing skills.

We can't wait for what is in store for the rest of the year! Welcome back :)
