Where oh where has the summer gone? I can't believe there's only a mere 13 days left until we (Mrs. C and I) get to meet our new students and try out our 'new' classroom. I say 'new' because over the course of the summer, our classroom was transformed from a regular old Grade 3 room to a Kindergarten room...complete with our own Kinder washroom and cubbies! (ooooh aaaah!).
Needless to say, this transformation is somewhat stressful (for me anyway) as it has taken the entire summer for it to be completed, leaving me with just a few days to go in and set up before the students arrive...and I still have yet to set foot in the room other than to snap a few pictures to get an idea of the floor plan. Hopefully everything ends up being completed on time and so we can give our students the start they deserve, especially considering this is a brand new experience for 10 of them who are entering Junior Kindergarten.
